Seas
These are a collection of photos I have taken over the years. I love every ocean or sea, but especially if there are waves. I go to the ocean whenever I can, but especially when I am struggling with pain or sorrow. I don’t know if this will load.
We’ll see.
This first picture is of the northwest side of Oahu on a cloudy day in February. A monk seal pup waits for its mother.
The second picture is of Birch Bay, Washington State at sunset. The sea was like glass and the clouds were gorgeous.
This picture is of the Georgia Strait, west of San Juan Island in Washinton State. Sunset again.
The Pacific Ocean of the Oregon Coast. This is a particularly glorious sunset, taken by a friend.
Bellingham Bay, west coast of Washington State.
West side of Oahu, Turtle Beach.
Vancouver, British Columbia, seen from Blaine, Washington, Boundary Bay.
Dawn in Cocoa Beach, Florida, looking at the Atlantic Ocean on Mother’s Day, served with a mimosa.
The Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Northern Ireland.
A beach on the French Riviera, the Mediterranean Sea.
Manzanita, Oregon.
The Mediterranean Ocean off the French Riviera.
Seattle as seen from Elliot Bay, with Lake Washington in the distance. We were in a prop seaplane. You can see the wing in the upper left corner.
